Our Lions Club has over 40 members; about 20 to 30 active members show up each week for the meeting. We meet in our own building, built to support youth organizations. We are farmers, lawyers, bankers, teachers, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, radio station owner, preachers, city employees, retired folk - a real cross section of the men and women of Hamilton.

Service

Our resources are mostly targeted toward youth and citizens of Hamilton County, but we also serve others in Texas, our country, and the world.

Becoming a Member

Most of us have dreams and aspirations to do good things with our life. One path to this goal is through Lions Club membership. Hamilton Lions Club is always looking for civic-minded individuals of good moral character and integrity who want to make a difference and contribute to the community. We are particularly interested in recruiting younger members into our organisation. Membership is open to all local residents over 18 years of age.

We will invite you to attend one or more club meetings, and perhaps get you involved with any events we are running at the time. We can get to know each other, and then you can choose whether to proceed to full-fledged membership. If you have interest in looking us over, just talk to any Lion in Hamilton; come to a meeting,

Requirements for Members:

  • Be a local resident of the Hamilton area over 18 years of age
  • Be sponsored by a current Lions Club member
  • Fill out membership application
  • Be approved by the Club
  • Have Continued commitment and involvement in club and community activities

Member Financial Obligations:

  • you are billed monthly for:
    • monthly dues of $6
    • weekly lunch charge of $8
    • your guest's lunch charge of $6
